Edging

At the top of one row of tiles was a large gap that was too narrow and irregular to be filled with mastic or tiles. I bought the plastic cloaking strip, a PVC edging. I created support for the edging using nails hammered into match stick filled holes between the tiles. Used an off cut of edging to get spacing correct. Used both evostick contact adhesive and ‘grab’ adhesive. I will find out tomorrow when I pull out the nail pins whether the edging has stick to the tiles and filler. I do hope so! Also further mastic behind the sink and around the window the the finish of the mastic is disappointing as I have not got the gap between the masking tape strips correct. I dont want the mastic too wide but when I remove the tape it pulls some of the mastic away from the wall.
