clicked button on chrome “toolbar” and opened up new editor window

TaDa !

“Installed” “Press this”  onto a Firefox bookmark . I tis a bit of javascript.

I don’t like the idea of a bookmark (not portable – but maybe access bookmarks via igoogle?) but clicking on the bookmark in Firefox immediately opens a little dialog window into which I am typing this blog entry.  Toolbar above this editoir has a range of text formating and link embedding (e.g. link to video) options

Have installed this as “button” on Google chrome toolbar / extensions. Had to configure with userid / password and API URL (some .php extension to the blog’s URL)

Push the button in Chrome’s extensions and up pops this editor. I’m sure there are lots of powerful facilities – but this “direct entry” will do for now
