I suppose there are many competitor “collaboration” environments. Zoom gets a lot of airtime. Maybe Facetime does a similar thing. But for existing Microsoft shops where the existing Exchange (?) address book can be plundered, the merging together of features from Calendar, and Skype desktop-sharing, finally makes some sense. So far the performance and stability of connections seems to be fine as long as streaming video is disabled.
